Services Offered
(Here are some general descriptions of Levels and type of yoga sessions.)

Basic Moves - Gentle, restorative, relaxing pace.  No experience necessary.

Relaxed Flow - Experienced practitioners or physically fit and curious newcomers.  Emphasis:  Technique, alignment, breath.  A relaxing, yet challenging class combining standing, seated and supine postures;  Back bends, forward bends and twists.  

Exploring Your Edge - Experienced practitioners or physically fit and curious newcomers.  A faster paced practice.  More emphasis is placed on vinyasas (sun salutations), strength, agility, endurance, and balance.  Arm balancing and inversions.

Vinyasa Fusion is a physically challenging, non-aggressive practice of mindfulness, posture, breath, self-inquiry and awakening.  Yoga postures are linked with steady and consistent ujjayi breath in a flowing, unpredictable sequence that links action with intention.  The result is a practice of Self-liberation that is at once fortifying and calming to the body, mind and spirit.

Spacious Flow & Restorative -- Slow, deep, unpredictable, precise and flowing.  Fewer postures with more time spent in each pose will give us the opportunity to really "tune-in" to the deep sensations of presence and awakening experienced through the interplay of body, breath, mind and spirit. Concentration, meditation, relaxation, renewal, wakefulness and celebration are among the benefits of a practice that balances the energies of effort and surrender, action and stillness, hard and soft.   

Gentle & Restorative Yoga --Renewing, unwinding, balancing, de-stressing.  Restorative yoga utilizes props and blankets to create a series of passive postures that help the body and mind relax into a peaceful and calm state.  This class will also include a gentle, slow and basic series of yoga postures and stretching exercises to open up and soften the tight places where we store lots of tension.

Therapeutic Yoga - For special conditions

Asana (posture) & Pranayama (breath) Refinement & Technique - Refine and vary your existing practice to prevent  injuries due to repetitive stress, body patterning, improper alignment, incorrect sequencing, and more.
